Yesterday we made a trip into Toronto, quite the deal for someone who rarely ever goes there. We had to go and turn in my emergency application for a birth certificate so that I can travel to California for the wedding! We just prayed that they would process it with no hinderances. Here I am with application in hand, ready to go.
Deb loves city driving (natural for a Southern California native), and I was happy to give it up.
After a few confusing turns, and hard to understand directions from a parking lot attendant, we found the Government Information Center
Success! After waiting for a few hours in a packed room with many wailing babys, we got to submit our application. It went a lot smoother than expected. The birth certificate should be here by Thursday.
Next we searched for the CN Tower, easy to spot, but not as easy to get to as you’d think….. it’s so close i can almost touch it..

Of course it wasn’t hard to find one of these…. gotta hit it when you can…
On our way out of Toronto a homeless guy was wandering through traffic begging for money, we felt better about giving him food. He took it and immediately set it down on his ’seat’ and took off to make another round. We stopped at the UPS headquarters in Mississauga to try and find some coveralls that we bought off of Ebay almost two months ago. Somehow they got sent to Montreal. We managed to track it down and will try again to get it to us. After a fun day in the city we made it back to the beef farm with time to spare!

That’s quite the trip. I took photos in a government building once and they tried to confiscate my camera. GOSH
