The Circus!

We made it to the circus! We took the subway from Yorkdale and made it with lots of time to spare. Debra had never been to the Skydome (ahem, Rogers centre, whatever) so it was pretty neat to walk around with her.

Before the show kids could get rides on elephants, it was a lot of fun to watch

My Debra Lynn before the show started. Debra bought the tickets for us, I had never been to the circus!

The elephants were pretty cool, they are so smart!! They actually seemed to enjoy their work. The dogs too were amazing, they acted like little furry people.

This 9 year old kid flew 50 feet into the air and through a hoop. Pretty crazy

This was by far the neatest act there, its called the Sphere of Death, or something like that. They have 7 guys on dirtbikes in there, all speeding around in different directions, missing each other by inches!

These two were way up in the air, on a tight rope, with a dirtbike, spinning all over the place. Right here, they were right above our heads doing all their tricks. She better have a good grip….
Yea, so we had lots of fun, it was a great experience. There were so many young people working for the circus, it made me think of that Newsboys song, Reality. Meh, I’m sure most of them didn’t run away from home…..
