Heart Transplant

Our car battery finally died after many struggling months…. After working during the night, Adam and I found the first open auto parts store and bought a new battery, which we thought would be a simple switch. We drove to the post office in Shelburne, where our car had died and started surgery. Now, for many of you out there, switching the battery may seem very simple, but not to me, and thats why I’m not the mechanic in the family. Things were going well until we went to take off the last terminal. The thing was corroded like crazy and mangled. We managed to get a socket on the end, but ofcourse it wouldn’t turn it. We eventually just had to mangle it some more with vicegrips and channel locks. It ended up being quite the procedure. We then had to go find some more of these terminal things and replace them. When all was said and done a simple battery change took a couple hours. I’m not sure how Kenny does it, there’s no room in there to work! I finally got to bed at 10a.m after a long nights work.

Cool website! Don’t think I’ve ever been to Orangeville…I’ve actually heard of it though. ;)
