The Marathon Walking Flies of the Great White North! at The Copeland Ramblings

Well, the flies are back! It’s time to get my fly zapper back out… aghhhh! For one thing we live on a beef farm. This means that at any given time we will have at the very least 40+ flies in our house. Now you would think that we leave our doors and windows open for that many flies in our house… but no… we keep it shut… because if we kept it open we would have at least 300 flies in our house at any given time. So, as you may have noticed I called them “Walking Flies,” YES, that’s right WALKING FLIES. For some reason, I rarely see a fly FLY! They walk all over the floor, the walls, the food, the ceiling, the furniture, carpet, windows… but how often do I see them fly?? Well, hardly! This is kinda nice. Except for the fact that they are also kamikaze flies. When they do fly they are spastic…they must be blind, cuz all they do is run into the walls…. buzzzzzzzz! Bang!!!!! buzzzzz… BANG!!! What the heck??? They definitely don’t have their flying licenses. Well, welcome back flies and remember you are not welcome in my home… and I zap intruders!
