Today we received a letter from Immigration and C… at The Copeland Ramblings

Today we received a letter from Immigration and Citizenship Canada! Our first of about 3. This is very exciting. The letter was addressed to Norman, since the letter was informing us that he was approved to sponsor me… The great thing is we now have our client number. It is possible I will have my Immigration Status by July! LORD WILLING! This would be wonderful because then I would have OHIP (Ontario Heath Insurance Plan) I think that is what it is…. This is the medical benefits that the government pays for. That will be a blessing. We looked up our status on the Immigration website, and they supposedly sent me a letter on the same day (most likely letting us know that they are processing our papers). BUT…… Our address is a Rural Route address, and they sent it to Debra Rutledge… and the post office doesn’t know that is my maiden name… so we may have a bit of trouble getting it! Oh well, we are going to call the Post Office tomorrow. ~Debra
