NTMC Graduation

After working Friday night, Debra and I got ready to go to Hanover for the NTMC graduation! A few people from our class graduated, it was awesome to see them. There was Sarah Schmidt, Dan Biddeson and Curtis & Jo Bergman. There were a lot of other people who came for the graduation who we hadn’t seen in a long time. It was a really refreshing time, kind of a reminder of what’s ahead. The speaker was good, he brought a lot of cool points. He was talking about Jesus feeding the 5000 people with the loaves and fish. The loaves and fish were all they had, the disciples knew that it wasn’t enough for the task. Jesus didn’t forget about the loaves and fish and just take care of the situation Himself, but used what the disciples had. We often don’t feel like we have what it takes to accomplish the task that God has for us, but He just wants to use what we have and with His amazing power, multiply it to accomplish what He wants. I was just reminded that I don’t have to have it all together, but just offer Him unconditionally all that I am and have, as insufficient as it is, and He will use it! After grad we headed over to Peter and Leah’s place for dinner. This is where I discovered Grill ‘Ems, a tasty treat we always find when we go there. They had a couple friends there visiting, one of whom had been to Papua New Guinea last year. It was fun to talk about the country and some of the people we both know there.
