Aldom Visit
After getting home from Hanover, we finally got to bed after being awake for more than 24 hours. I was so tired but for some reason woke around 5am and couldn’t get back to sleep! My system must have been really confused. We actually ended up hearing the same speaker twice in one weekend. The man who spoke at the NTM graduation spoke at church in Shelburne. After church we went over to Matt and Melanie Aldom’s place. I used to work with Matt at Shelburne Johnson Controls. We had a lot of fun, it was great to hang out with them, we hadn’t seen much of each other in a while. My shift Sunday night started 2 hours early. I wasn’t feeling very good at all, but went anyways. After about 6 hours of work my co-ordinator asked me if I wanted a same day. I took it, ready to get home and rest. Debra’s stomach isn’t feeling great either, we must have eaten something that didn’t agree with us. This week should prove to be pretty busy. Deb has to get another medical done for her immigration application and we also have to go get her fingerprinted for a criminal background check.
Who knows what secrets we might unveil….. :o)
