Immigration, Immigration

Well, today I spent yet another day going about my immigration tasks. I found out I needed to get a second medical exam, since my last one is expiring soon… good grief! So, my morning started wonderfully, being awakened by my husband with pop tarts and tea! How cool! Then I finally crawled out of bed about 15 minutes later. I hoped in the shower and suddenly realized I needed to get passport photos for the appointment. I needed at least an hour to get to Guelph (where my appointment was) and another half hour to get ready. But it was already 9:30 with my appointment at 11. So I rushed out of the shower to the photo place… and that is a whole other story…. they were going to take an hour but me almost crying in front of them… they did it in 20 minutes… So then I was off to Guelph. Which is mostly country roads to get there… so I sped as fast as I could and almost didn’t find the place… I was really lucky with that one. I pulled into the parking lot and like vultures 5 cars were driving in circles with zero parking spots available. So, I rushed around the block and parked at a cleaners. Then I ran into the doctors office, with my heart racing and signed in. The receptionist slowly said, “Ok, thanks take a seat” ALL that rushing around… and I get “Ok, take a seat!” So I sat! The appointment went well, very vague exam, chest x-ray, and blood tests. That all took 2 hours. Mostly waiting in line for the x-ray and blood. When all that was over I rushed to STARBUCKS!!! Yippie! I realized once at Starbucks that it was attached to a nice sized mall… so I wandered it and bought Norm part of his birthday gift! Well, I gotta run…. pizza in the oven!
