After working this past friday night, Debra and I drove up to Durham to check out our new house, in order to better prepare us for packing during the next month. Seeing it was quite a shock into reality :o) It was a cute little place, emphasis on little.

We’ve really been spoiled over the last year, to have such an amazing house, especially for a first home. But don’t get us wrong, though it’s going to be a big adjustment, we are so excited to move in and continue on our training with New Tribes Mission! Seeing the new house kind of made it a reality for me, and though I was already excited, I now can’t wait for it all to begin.

But I am also beginning to miss where we are now. Our home, the farm, friends nearby. I know God’s timing is perfect, but I hate to leave the day to day friendships I have with some of the guys at work and the opportunities God has given me there to share. Debra’s been so amazing, doing loads of work here on the farm getting us ready for the move. After visiting NTMC, we went over to Pete & Leah’s place and found the Bethel Bible Chapel Youth Group hard at work. We helped them out for a couple hours, ate lunch and ran home to get some sleep before I had to go to work.

Hey guys!
One good thing about being in that apartment…you are right next to the bathroom. I really enjoyed the lakeside view and the bathroom next door. :) It kinda makes up for the teeny tiny apartment. Not that my place is too much bigger, but you’re welcome to come over and hang out any time.
what is that machine Debora is standing beside? And the printerish device to the side…
hey mike, that’ll be our new washing machine… that printerish thing you mentioned is the ringer for the washer ….
