Finally, a day of real vacation!

Yesterday we finally got a full day to relax a bit. I went shopping for a few things in the morning (during which someone stole my rubber chicken) then we left to go fishing just after noon. We picked up Dad and went up to Stillwaters. It was great to spend some time with Dad. It’s very hard to match up schedules so it was fun to get him to ourselves for a whole day. We arrived at Stillwaters around 2:00pm and ended up fishing much longer than we anticipated. Evil Chub abounded and it was hard to put your line in for over 20 seconds without hooking one. What we were really after was a brown trout. By 6pm we were willing to take a trout of any size, we even tried putting the chub we caught onto the hook and fishing with those. Dad finally caught a really nice brown trout close to 9pm. We got home after 11 and had no problem falling asleep :o)
