Yesterday was the day! I walked in to Johnson Controls with my letter of resignation. Overall, it went quite well…. better than I had expected. I waited until the end of the shift to turn the letter in, mostly because there’s no one in the office while my shift is in. It was a weird feeling, part of me wondering why I was giving up a great job, but then I’d be reminded and of course encouraged! Security is really just a feeling, I know that Johnson Controls was where God wanted me to be for the last year and a half, so it was the most secure place for us to be. Now God wants us to leave that and carry on with the New Tribes training, so that now is the most secure place for us to be. I now have two weeks left at JCI, and while I will miss the people there, we are SO excited to be moving on. Thankfully I will be able to continue some of the relationships that I developed while in Orangeville.
