Where to Begin??

We’re BACK! We arrived home last Sunday night from Michigan, that was a fun relaxing trip before the whirlwind of moving. Didn’t we just move? Why yes we did. But here we are again, hopefully for the last time at least a year or two. We went down to Michigan to visit Debra’s sister, Christy, who is starting at the Jackson NTBI. We stayed with our friends Matt and Jasmine. Matt was my roommate in college and Jasmine was Debra’s roommate. I’ve never really been one to discriminate, but I’ve always had something against Chihuahuas - Matt and Jasmine have this tiny chihuahua named Cappy. I always thought of them as little yappy dogs, and while Cappy was definitely tiny, she really wasn’t that yappy. For most of the trip we got along quite well, though I think she was tiring of me by the end of the week. Christy seemed to settle in great, you can read about here first few days here. Matt was working for the first few days that we were there, and I got to go help for a couple hours on Thursday. And what were we doing? Unloading 854 tires! It was actually a lot of fun rolling them around. Debra’s been feeling a bit better this week as we traveled, which is a huge answer to prayers. On Saturday we bought a new laptop. It was a big decision, but after a lot of prayer and thought we decided that it would be a wise move, especially with the life that we’ve decided to lead. On Sunday we went out for lunch with Critter, Matt, Jazzy and a few of Critter’s new roommates to the Olive Garden (one of Deb’s favourites). I remember Olive Garden commercials in Canada when I was little, but I’ve never actually seen a restaurant…. moving south of the border seems to be the thing to do if you get famous. We arrived home close to midnight and went to bed, we needed to rest for the move!
