We were down, but not out
We blame our silence over the last few days on technical issues :o) On Saturday our wireless connection suddenly disappeared while I was online working at something. Apparently the router nearest our appartment was having issues so it was taken down. Sometime this afternoon it was replaced and here I am! It has been a fun last few days, we’re getting used to living life on the campus and hanging out with new and old friends. On Sunday we went to the Hanover Missionary Church with Debra’s aunt and uncle, it was our first time there and it was a fun experience. We will lakely go there often during our time in Durham. While we want to come down to the Chapel in Shelburne, we know that distance, weather and finances may not always make it a possibility. Today was our first day of classes! It was so much fun, and so invigorating. Bill Meerstra, whom ma
ny of you may know of have heard speak, tought most of our morning classes. His classes over the next few days are called ‘The Big Picture’. We look at missions as a whole in relation to God’s heart and goals. This evening we have a potluck supper with staff and students in order to get to know one another, it should be fun! Our apartment is right on the two ponds and we’ve enjoyed our daily evening swim. In the picture is Debra swimming with another student, Penny Enns.
