A Whole Different World

Life here is quite different then what we have been experiencing since we got married. We loved to drive all over the place and see new things, but things are a little different now! The NTMI campus is very much it’s own little community, and we are so busy on campus that we rarely have time to go anywhere else! Of course, with the price of gas lately, we really don’t need to be going far! We were just at the Challinor’s place watching news footage on Hurricane Katrina. Though neither of us have family or friends there, we feel for them and pray for them. I am confident that God will use this tragedy to bring many to Himself. Pray also for Debra and her health, especially as it relates to her life here at school. Work detail in the afternoon has been difficult to sort out as there are many things she’d love to do normally (such as painting and cleaning) but she can’t because she’s pregnant. I’m having a great time with my work detail, I’m building Dobu huts… I’m really not allowed to say much more than that… it is a well guarded secret here at the MI. It is part of a class in the 4th semester and they like it to be as much of a surprise as possible. That’s it for now, thanks to all those who continue to pray for us as we train to reach those in other culture who have never had a chance to hear about what Christ did for them.
