It’s been such a fun week, beginning with learning more about our baby. Classes have been awesome - very stretching - but awesome. At some points, it seemed frustrating because we felt like we couldn’t quite grasp everything. We soon realized that all God asks of us is to simply be willing to learn what He wants us to learn each day. Debra and I have always had a heart geared towards someday serving in a support ministry to tribal missionaries. Running a guest house / supply buying / gov. rep have always been jobs that had our interest. Separately, we’ve been both been interested in and thinking about the field of Guinea, West Africa for a month or so. We realized recently that we both had been thinking about it. There’s still lots of time left in our training, but it’s fun to have a field in mind and also a field to pray for. We wrote a couple people over there in Guinea in order to get more informatio
n about that country and the guest house in Conakry that we’re interested in. In other news…. Up till now, we haven’t received any packages in the mail and then suddenly this week we got 3! All were from Debra’s family and all on separate days. The last one contained a door bell! It has a button that you stick to your front door and another unit that you can put up any where. It has a few different sounds you can pick, very fun. It’ll be even more fun next year up in jungle camp. Alright, that was definitely a ramble.
