Wild Child

Yesterday we and the Kane’s went to Owen Sound for Midwives appointments. We had appointments at the same time and place so we car pooled. It was fun to hang out with them and crazy little Chloe. We met our newest midwife, her name is Heather. I’ve never seen anyone so amazed when she tried to listen to our baby! Every time she pressed on Debra’s belly Canaan would kick her back. She said it sounded like he was doing laps in there. Usually babies don’t act like this until they are at least 28 weeks a long. Canaan is just 23 weeks along! It was fun, I felt like a proud parent already! Actually, he’s been like that for a while. Every time I touch Deb’s belly he kicks me back. On the weekend mom got to feel it too, she was so excited about it. You can actually see the out side of Deb’s belly move when he does his karate kick. Sounds like we have quite the ride ahead of us!

Debra, I just viewed your pics on Flikr. You look adorable! How are you feeling? Gosh, you think Canaan is active now, just wait another month or two! YIKES! Sounds like he’s a very happy, healthy guy!

So does that mean that Canaan is gonna play soccer?

    :)

May our LORD bless you mightily. Have a happy Thanksgiving, even if it’s American and not Canadian ;-)
