Sneak Peek!

The coolest thing happened today! We go in for weekly check-ups at the hospital for my kidneys… they have to do ultra sounds, blood tests, and urine tests…. So today was the third week of this. Well today I decided to be bold and hint towards getting a peek at our Canaan! I said, “too bad the kidneys aren’t any closer to the baby, we could get a peek!” So the technician lady said, “Oh so you want a look, do you?” And at the end when we were done with the kidneys she gave us a 60 second glance into our sons world! It was so great. He is getting much bigger. He had his legs crossed, moving them around. It was really neat and made the whole trip worth it!! How fun! Just thought I would let you guys know!
And about the kidney, its the same… Basically she said as long as my kidney drains each night while I sleep, we are safe. If it ever stops draining while I sleep then we have major problems. But so far everything looks good… Its just like having a kink in your garden hose… water still comes out but there is a lot of pressure, so when I sleep it has more time to go through….
Talk to you all later!
Debra

On this day..

Debra, I’m glad to hear that the kidney issue isn’t worsening. Wish you didn’t have to go through that. That’s cool that the tech gave you a lil peek.

I’ve done that whole garden hose business. The only problem is…that if it can only get out at night…it does…and so you are up! as much as you are down. Will pray for better days ahead!
