The Copeland Ramblings

We’re on our way to California! We’re presently hanging out and relaxing in a hotel room in Buffalo. At least trying to relax :o) We had to search the area for water that didn’t cost an arm and a leg and had to call the front desk when our tub wouldn’t fill! But we are loving it here, it’s such a blessing to have the night to rest before the flight, compliments of Debra’s parents! The day has been crazy, but we got a lot accomplished. We started off the day with yet another weekly ultra sound of Debra’s kidney, followed by the usual tests. Debra doesn’t even feel the needle any more, the tape is more painful! We got home and spent the next few hours packing for our trip to California and cleaning up the house. By 12:30 the car was packed and we were ready, even if we didn’t feel like it. We then left for Owen Sound for an appointment with our midwife. Yep, lots to do before a drive to Buffalo. The appointment in Owen Sound was good, nothing out of the ordinary. The baby is doing great, which is awesome to hear (even if it doesn’t make the pain in Deb’s kidney any easier). We did some shopping in Owen Sound for the trip then finally at 5pm started out for Buffalo! Ever thankful for those uneventful trips? This was one of them. It went fast and before we knew it we were crossing the border and anxiously looking for the Holiday Inn sign. Oh, and at the Mid wife appointment we got to hear Canaan’s heart beat! It sounded much different than it did when we heard it over 10 weeks ago. We’ll post it soon!
