HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Thus ends 2005 :o) We had a great year, definitely a year of change. We went from living on a farm and working at Johnson Controls to finding out we’re expecting to quitting and going to school to be missionaries!
We’ve spent our entire Christmas break with Debra’s family and have had a great time! Just like last year Dad R. bought a pack of fireworks for us to have fun with. Real fireworks are illegal in California but they sell the ones that pop and shoot streamers. We counted down and soon we were making lots of noise - and mess! The Rutledge’s dog, Abby (check out the Abby video here) hates all of the noise and just shakes. We really enjoyed spen
ding the new years with family. But… we did have to get up at 8 for church! Debra and I had the opportunity to share a few times with Camarillo Evangelical Free Church about our ministry and training with New Tribes Mission. It was fun to share our experiences and vision for our future ministry. We are very thankful for the people here that God has placed in our lives, we couldn’t ask for a better group of people to pray for us.
Check out our post hall of fame on the side bar to see the highlights of our year.
