A Visit from Rhino & Bobbi at The Copeland Ramblings

Yesterday we were paid a visit from Rhino and Bobbi! Rhino (Ryan O.) and started working at Johnson Controls around the same time, about a month before Debra & I were married. Rhino always made the days go faster with his antics. Rhino’s girlfriend Bobbi started hanging out with Debra while we were working, Rhino even came up to Durham to help work on the new loft at Stillwaters. In January of 2005 Shelburne Johnson Controls where we worked lost a contract so a lot of us were transferred to the Orangeville Johnson Controls where Rhino still works! We gave Rhino and Bobbi a tour of the campus, took them up to jungle camp and told them what that is all about. They also got to witness the secretive Dobu project. I hadn’t seen Rhino in a long time, it was fun to get in touch and hear how things are. I think that the worst part about moving is losing contact with friends. There are some you know you’ll always know, but there are others who you say you’ll keep in contact with but in your heart you wonder if you’ll ever talk to them again. We’ve been trying to keep up with old friends, and it’s definitely worth the time it took to write when you get a letter or call back. Ah well. Such is life.
