Dobu’n It

Round 2 of our Walkerton Hospital appointment went about as well as the first one. After canceling because of the weather on Monday we rescheduled our hospital registration and tour for Tuesday. As we were getting ready to leave on Tuesday I called to confirm and they asked if I could come in one hour later. Sure. As were getting ready to leave one hour later they called and cancelled completely. We rescheduled for next Wednesday, we’ll see how round 3 goes. This afternoon I brought my camera to the secretive Dobu (shhhh) project and took some pictures. It was beautiful up there and took a lot of shovelling before we could begin work. My brother Ken and friends Adam and Brendan stopped by on their way home from Skiing and said Hi, it was good to see them.

I was talking to my mom at lunch today and she told me that her and Dad are going away on a surprise get away! My uncle bought them a vacation at a resort on Curacao, a little island off of Venezuela. This is huge for them because they’ve never been able to get away on a vacation before. Uncle Bill told them last night and it was booked this morning, and they leave in two weeks. The baby better not come early!
Have fun mom and dad!
