Robert & Sharon Moseley

Our classes last week were devoted to the subject of partnership development. Robert & Sharon Moseley came up from Sanford, Florida to teach for the week. We enjoyed the class because of the emphasis that was placed on relationships. It wasn’t a class about fund raising, it was about partnering with people in a two way street of ministry. Debra and I are supported as missionaries through prayer, finances and encouragement from people all over, but our partnership with them isn’t meant to be a one way street. The Moseley’s emphasized the relationship between us and our supporters and how we can be an encouragement to them. They gave many tips and ideas on how we can be an encouragement to our ministry partners. Robert and Sharon were interested in putting their weeks worth of content onto PowerPoint so Jim and I used two afternoons of work detail to give the Moseleys a tutorial in PowerPoint and get them headed in the right direction. It was fun to work with them and get to know them a bit more. They said that they needed a bump into the 21st century, hopefully we didn’t hit them too hard :o)
