Professional House Sitters

We’re going to be very experienced house sitters! Back in January we house sat for Debra’s aunt and uncle for a few weeks while they visited family in the States. Today we started house sitting for Barry & Chris Challinor, a staff couple here at NTMC. Barry & Chris are off to Papua New Guinea to speak at a conference and will be gone for a month. I know it has nothing to do with our experience and everything to do with being pregnant, I suppose they thought that Debra would appreciate the bath tub – and they were right! Debra is looking forward to having a tub to soak in for the final stretch of the pregnancy and also for recovery afterwards. My parents get home tonight from their vacation to Curacao and though we want the baby to come as soon as possible I know that my parents will be glad that they won’t be out of the country when Canaan comes!
