Grandma & the Midwives

With spring break coming to a close, we’re getting lots more visits and many chances to show off our little boy. His Canadian grandma came for a visit and spent the afternoon rocking Canaan to sleep. She enjoyed cradling him and taking lots of pictures. We had our day 5 visit with our midwives and they weighed him and did a little exam. He’s gaining weight at a good pace and is doing excellent! The new mom is still very sore and feels it especially after those spurts of energy where she’s feeling pretty good. Debra’s sisters and brother in law are planning on coming next week, we’re very excited about the visit! Pray for Kathleen though, she’s been feeling very sick and she may not be able to come. We would miss her and are praying for good health so that she can make the trip. Thanks for your continued prayers as we continue to adjust to Canaan Joshua.
