Where’s a Camera When you Need it?

This morning during class our teacher Vern Dyck stopped talking mid sentence, pointed out the back window and said:

There’s a moose out there!

Half of us turned around, I was suspicious, thinking it was an early April Fools joke. Once we realized that he wasn’t kidding we all jumped up and took off, trying to get a glimpse. I managed to get one good look at it before it made it to the other side of the hill. I’ve lived in this area my whole life and have NEVER seen a moose, we’re thinking that it may be from some sort of farm in the area. There’s a farm south of here that has zebra’s, buffaloes and other weird animals, so a moose farm isn’t out of the question. A police officer also showed up looking for the moose and said to call the Ministry of Natural Resources if we spotted it again. As I was getting ready for class this morning I even picked up my camera, thinking that I would bring it to class, I had no idea so then decided against it.

On this day..
