Ice Age 2

Tonight Debra and I went to Owen Sound to see a movie that we had been dying to see. Ice Age 2! We loved the first one and couldn’t wait to see the sequel. But.. I’m always a little leary of sequels to movies that I love. So did it meet my expectations? Yes! It was a lot of fun, kept us laughing throughout. We left home a little later than we had wanted for our date but still wanted to go out for dinner before the movie. We made it to Montana’s an hour before the movie started, but figured we had just enough time. We picked our meal and waited…. and waited… and waited some more. Half an hour later (and less than half an hour before the movie starts), the manager came to our table and apologized for the wait. Our meal had been ready a while but had been dropped, so he gave us our entire meal for free! We had to rush to get to the movie, but it was fun to get a free meal! We made it in time for the previews and even got to sit with Peter & Kathy Baker and their son. Peter is one of our teachers here at NTMC. The best part of the whole night was just having some time to spend together.
Thinking about watching Ice Age II? The Ramblings gives it two thumbs up

On this day..

I love Ice Age. I need to go see the sequel now. :) For some reason my littler kids call it Ice Stage. LOL

Glad you had a nice anniversary. We celebrate our 10th on the 5th of this month.

Good to hear it was worth seeing. The boys of course really want to see it (Ok, I do too!) I actually was able to earn 6 free tickets just buying groceries! Maybe that’s not a big deal to some but to me, taking 6 people to the theater is outrageously expensive! We rarely see movies in theaters. That’s nice that the meal was free even if you had to rush to see the movie!

Canaan stayed home with his aunties and grandma… they wanted a chance to babysit before leaving. =) We missed him dearly, but it is important for mom and dad to have alone time =)
