This morning as a class we all went up to Jungle Camp to select lots. Our teachers had previously marked out 11 lots and it was up to us to figure out who went where. It was interesting picking for ourselves, no teachers came with us - it was a good lesson in team work. Debra and I ended up with lot #3, a small lot, but very close to the woman’s bathroom which will be really nice for Deb. We’ve been working on our plans and it was nice to finally be able to visualize our jungle camp house on a piece of land. We’ve been looking forward to Jungle Camp for years, it’s so much fun now that it’s finally close! While up in Jungle camp we found these little visitors living in Shane and Karen Whatley’s old jungle camp house:
A special thanks to those who have been praying for Canaan and his horrible diaper rash - it’s slowly improving! Diaper changing isn’t quite so agonizing for the little guy, we felt so bad for him! But continue to pray for him, he now has a horrible cold and is really congested. He has a hard time breathing and its also hard for him to feed when he can’t breathe out of his nose. He seems to panic when he realizes that he just can’t breathe normally. I would too! Once again, thanks so much to everyone for your support and words of encouragement.

MY POOR BABY!!!! well he’s your baby, but he’s my nephew!
I’m excited to see in person where your lot is located! Iwas so ecxited to see the location when I came at Spring break!!! Love you guys
SEE you soon!!!
Caleb had a cold for his first three months! I know how it is to see them panic when they can’t breathe. Here is what worked for me. I put him to sleep adn naps in his carseat (sat the carseat inside the crib). Also I ran a humidifier in the room constantly. The carseat is the best trick because it keeps him upright, it seems to me when they lie flat everything clogs up.
Glad the diaper rash is improving!! That is so sad for them and for mom and dad!
