The Final Word

My brother Ken called a couple days ago about our car, and we finally came to a decision - we’re going to lay our beloved Cavalier to rest. We knew from the beginning that with it being a transmission problem, it would be a big job. The question was, how big of a job would it be? After assessing the options we’ve decided to start looking for a new car. We’d appreciate your prayers as we look to the Lord in this. Just like everyone else who is looking for a car, we need something reliable for a half decent price. Ken is a huge blessing - being a mechanic he is able to look at our options and know quickly whether they’re really worth looking at. A car might look great to me but he will often notice something bad that I may not have seen until it was too late. Thankfully we just paid off our school bill for this semester - God provides! We look forward to seeing how he will provide for us in the area of a new vehicle and with other upcoming expenses such as jungle camp. I love the verses in Philippians where Paul explains how he is content with much or little - God gives him what he needs! His greatest need was met by Jesus.

On this day..
