Laundry?

While Debra and I are up in Jungle Camp we will be doing all of our laundry by hand. Today Jim and I worked on a laundry stand made out of a 55 gallon plastic drum, it’s not done yet but we got a good start on it. We’re going to attach a ringer onto one side and will have water fed right into the barrel. Time is winding down before we start building and there is definitely lots to do! Tomorrow we hope to pick up a barrel that we will use for our ‘fridge’. The barrel will be buried in the ground and will hopefully keep things cool. Debra is busy sewing up a storm making curtains for our jungle camp home. Critter has been a big help by looking after Canaan, tonight she is going to feed him for us so that we can both sleep through the night! Wow!

On this day..

I love seeing your Jungle Camp progress! Your laundry setup is awesome.
(BTW, Cloth diapers dry great on a line. Much fresher that way. :))

He was a hungry Boy last night, I had to give him 2 extra ounces of milk!! it was fun though, a little auntie/nephew bonding!

Jungle camp sure sounds like it’ll be exciting. How lucky you two are to have such a great lil sis who can take care of Canaan so you can sleep. That must be great!
