Hey Guys! Its me the sickie… Debra. =) I have been sick now for about 6 days. That sure was not in my plan book. I had plans for every minute of every day until move up to Jungle Camp… God wanted to slow me down and teach me some things… what is the only way to do that? Wipe me out completely! That sure is what he did!
Proverbs 16:9 Our family theme verse … (since Norm and I were dating)
“We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.”
I have been so wrapped up in getting the things on my list done and getting ready for Jungle Camp and doing these things my way, I haven’t let God show us how he can take care of things! Days 8,9 and 10 of Jungle Camp building have come and our house still stands the same as it was on day 6…meaning we are now way behind OUR schedule. But now GOD can show us how he wants it to get done. He wants us to rely on him to get our house done… and you know what!! We can move up there before it is done! We probably will be. We can just finish it once we are living there.
I had a whole lot of plans for Sunday… pack, pack, pack, pack…. get ready to live in the “jungle.” But you know what I was doing on Sunday?? Laying in bed with a 102 degree fever! (Oh and driving back and forth from the hospital, just trying to catch a doctor in the ER!) Guess God wanted me to wait on that one.
I have really enjoyed the last few days of resting and recuperating. Today is the first day that I am starting to feel a tiny bit better! Thank the Lord! Maybe I will be working up at Jungle Camp tomorrow… but I wont work as hard as I was… I will take it easy… I promise!
I hear we might have a little help from some of our fellow “Jungle Dwellers” who are a bit ahead of schedule on their houses… that would be simply amazing! Team work is the greatest thing to see!
Ok I have much more I could say, but I will stop boring you! =)
Debra
Our little 12 week old chillin’ up at Jungle Camp last week! =)
Just after our roof went on… on day 2.

I will keep praying, and I thank God for the people who have been helping you.
