Debra’s Turn

Today is Debra’s turn to go hiking on the Bruce Trail. The men’s hike was a few weeks ago where we hiked 37kms. The ladies hike is today and tomorrow though Debra is only going the first day because she needs to be home tonight to nurse Canaan. I definitely don’t mind her coming home one day early. Whenever she is gone and I have extra responsibilities at home I get a great appreciation for all that she does. As we have written before, laundry is a long procedure, though I didn’t know how long until I had to do it and watch Canaan at the same time plus do a few other misc. tasks. Yesterday we had a few special guests here at jungle camp. Kirk and Yolanda Rogers and their children came to speak to our class. Kirk and Yolanda are missionaries in Guinea, West Africa where we plan to work. It was a lot of fun to meet future co-workers and to be able to ask our many questions about Guinea. Thanks for your many prayers and words of encouragement, they are greatly appreciated!!
