Yesterday we made the drive down to Jackson Michigan. We’ve both done this drive countless times, but this time there was a difference - Canaan! A drive that usually takes us 6 hours or so took us over 8. We’re not complaining, it’s just another new thing to get used to, and it wasn’t all his fault, the border crossing at Windsor-Detroit was horrendous. We spent the night with our good friends Matt & Jasmine Bennett. Jasmine is due with their first baby at the end of August. Matt’s brother Tim and his wife Karis also visited. I met the Bennett family on my first missions trip in 2000. Matt and I have been all over the world together, Debra and I look forward to he and Jasmine holding their new little one soon. Today Peco will drive down from Lansing to hang out for a bit then he’s going to drive us to the airport, we have a 5:30 flight to California!
