Yesterday I was able to go on a Ride Along with my brother-in-law Gregg for an entire shift! Gregg’s beat was Malibu, one that he usually enjoys. I had an awesome time and got an inside look into a day in the life of a cop. Most of the tickets we did were speeding tickets but we also had a car towed and got some people for expired tags. Gregg said that it was a pretty quiet day but I still had an awesome time. I helped him out by entering some information into the in-car computer and checking a license plate. Not only did I get to ride in the patrol car all day but I got to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the PCH. Debra and Kathleen met us for dinner at this amazing restaurant right on the beach that gives 50% off to CHP officers. Thanks Gregg for an awesome day!

Wow Norm, what big guns you have! I am so glad you had a good time! i know Debra and i had a good time hanging with you two for dinner. The best was to see the “Cop” look on your faces when you drove in to the parking lot!
