Disneyland

Yesterday we finished our amusement park marathon with Disneyland, it was an amazing day! To be honest, in the past I never had any desire to go there but it was actually totally different than I had imagined. Magic Mountain and parks like that are great for the rides but they just seem dirty, sticky and wearing but I was astounded at how clean Disneyland was. Another thing that surprised me was the detail that they put into the park. Every ride seemed very intricate, even the lines were decorated and entertaining. Though Canaan is obviously way too young to appreciate where he is, he did actually have a great time. There were a few rides with a lot of flashing lights and movement that really excited him, he sat there wide eyed looking all over. My favourites were Space Mountain and Indian Jones. Buzz Lightyear was pretty neat as well, it was interactive; you could spin your car around yourself as well as shoot at targets with a laser gun. And to top it all off you could have your picture emailed to you for free from that ride!
