Keeping in Touch

It’s been a busy few days! Debra and I have been here at my parents since Thursday night and will head home tomorrow afternoon. On Thursday we had the opportunity to have dinner with Len Guchardi, one of my old high school teachers! It was neat to talk about school and what’s been going on in our lives. I had to get used to calling him Len instead of Mr.Guchardi, old habits die hard I suppose. Len is one of the most hospitable people I’ve ever met, we felt at home right away. I know from first hand experience how easy it is to lose contact with any one you don’t see regularly and I’ve been reminded over the last few months how important it is to make the effort and keep in contact with people in my life. It doesn’t take much time to write an email or make a phone call and I can encourage some one, even make their day! Relationships and friendships are invaluable and are what life is about. Here is a picture of us and Mr.Guchardi - I mean Len!

On this day..
