Canaan went for a check up at the doctors today! He got his shots… poor guy. He whimpered a little, but did wonderfully. =) Thank the Lord! It would have been so sad if he cried a lot.
Do you want to know what he now weighs??? Drum roll please….
19 pounds 5 ounces
That means he has gained 11 lbs 4 oz in his 5 months of life outside the womb! The doctor had a hard time getting his weight because Canaan was wiggling around so much… what a silly boy.
He has been such a good boy in the nursery! I am so glad to know he is having a good time while we are in class. Today we took him for his first swing ride. He laughed his head off! We will post pictures of that soon!
I want to take him swinging!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!! He is huge. I knew when he came to visit that he was close to Caleb’s weight. They looked almost the same size. Sounds like he is a healthy boy. :)
it’s probably all that sand he ate at the beach!

Wow! He is almost the same weight as Rachel! I think she is 20 pounds almost 21. I think your Grandma is right…probably from all that California sand!LOL
