Prison Break!

Last night we were invited to the Whatleys and to hang out and enjoy Karen’s cappuccinos. We had a great time hanging out with them and some other staff couples, we got to hear great stories of their time in the training. Debra left before I did to check on the boy, but it wasn’t long before I got a phone call. Our mischievous Gerbils had found a way out of their cage and I needed to get home to help! I ran home but thankfully Debra had got them all back in but one which I quickly rounded up. We thought it was all over until this morning at 6:30 I woke up to find their cage knocked right over! This time all three were on the loose. With the aid of a broom handle I was able coax them out from underneath the couch and the stove. They’re quick little guys! I knew previously that I needed to get something fixed on their cage but just hadn’t got to it, here’s a little motivation!

In other news, Canaan is slowly doing better. Before he had been sick he had been sleeping through the night which was wonderful! Sickness put an end to that, he got in the habit of waking up a couple times a night. We are very thankful that he is now getting back into his old habit of sleeping through the night.

On this day..

Caleb has just come down with the sickies too. It’s terrible, he is so full of snot. I agree the change in sleeping pattern is NO fun!

Canaan is so cute! I can’t believe how big he is already. Glad you were able to catch all the gerbils! That must’ve been a little bit of excitement. How many do you have?

we have six, 3 girls and 3 boys. The boys have always been great buddies but since they escaped yesterday they ‘ve been fighting, we can’t figure it out!
