Week 4 : CLA Continues
Today we are half way through week four of our CLA Practicum. Forgotten what our CLA Practicum is? No problem, click here for a description. Quickly put, it is a chance to practice the culture and language learning techniques that we learned earlier this semester. For the past three weeks we have been comprehending nouns and verbs. This week we shift gears a bit and start on grammar. During this morning’s session we used little people from some board games to acquire personal pronouns such as I, you, he, she, we, etc. It has been a busy, stretching time but we know that we are learning many valuable lessons. This weekend Debra and I are both speaking at our Church. Deb will be speaking at a ladies luncheon on Saturday and mine is during the morning service on Sunday. We are learning a lot but are looking forward to our green Christmas in California where we can rest our brains :o)
