Finishing off the semester

Last night was the NTMC training Christmas party! Like last year we socialized with deserts and then had a huge gift exchange. This year we had 54 people playing, four less than last year but still a lot of people for a gift exchange. Shane kept everything in order and the game went well. Last year I won a screwdriver set that I still use but this time its didn’t turn out as well. I ended up with a women’s devotional and a candle (no offense to whoever brought it) :o)

Today is our last day of our CLA Practicum, the last six weeks really have gone by fast and we can say that it accomplished in our lives what was intended. We saw the value of the culture and language learning technique we studied as well as learning extra lessons along the way that God prepared for us. Tomorrow and Friday we have lectures and then the holidays begin! We look forward to the break and the chance to see our family in California, we miss them!

On another note, check out our friend Dana Hill’s blog, last night she went to the hospital to be induced and we are excitedly awaiting the news!

On this day..
