One of the major struggles of living overseas is dealing with health factors. To help educate us about this our classes this week and part of next are devoted to ‘Health and Wellness’. Faye Brown is a nurse who worked with New Tribes for many years and now works with Friends in Action, an organization that draws along side other mission organizations and helps them with physical needs. Faye travels the globe helping missionaries with medical programs and educating those in the training. Yesterday afternoon we had a little tutorial on how to read someones blood pressure, give a shot and also check their ears. Don’t worry, we’re only injecting saline :o)

Wow! That is trust! Now Norm… your videos are getting a little to good! JK! That was awesome! I am so glad you like to do all the videos because then it does not feel like you are all so very far away! Good luck on your class!
Oh my goodness. I would be so scared to do that to Christopher. But at least you’re doing it to someone who loves you and you know will forgive you if you stick ‘em wrong. Can’t wait to follow in your footsteps. ~Julie

Oh man…when Dave gave me my shot, it hurt sooo bad! He claims it was nothing, but I have my suspicions.
