Poor Chickens
Health & Wellness week continues. Yesterday we had an opportunity to suture and give stitches. No, we didn’t practice this one on each other. For this exercise we had chicken legs with slices in them. We had to do one stitch that was for deeper muscle cuts and one for cuts just through the skin. It was fun to try and to learn that this was something we could actually do if we had to. We have two more days next week with Faye during which we will cover malaria and how to run indigenous medical programs. We have thoroughly enjoyed our week of classes, it was a great start to the semester!
On this day..
