Canaan’s first nasty injury!
Canaan had quite the day yesterday. The whole day started off with a little poop taste testing… yuck! And ended off with a nice big cut on his hand. He was wondering around the house like usual… and he went in to the bedroom… like normal… but this time we heard a loud crash seconds after he went in… not normal… then he started to cry. Norman ran right in and picked him up. He seemed ok. But then he noticed the massive amounts of blood coming from his left hand. He had pulled a mirror right down on his hand… But our little guy is such a trooper. He screemed for maybe half a minute and then he settled right down. He only cried when we were trying to clean the blood off. Here is a picture…

So…guess that the health classes were good timming! Although i am sure that your parenting skills came in like second hand.
hehe Ya actually when he did it… I was like “I know what to do! We went over this in class!” It was great.
You should bring him over. I can stitch that right up if need be…

And I have to say one GREAT thing about cloth diapers.. Babies cannot get those snaps undone at all! So No poop tasting. ;)
True True! Although… Canaan didn’t actually have a diaper on at the time… LONG STORY! (He had a blow out and I stuck him in the bathtub and didn’t know what to do with the diaper… poop every where… So while I was disposing of the diaper… somebody found a substance looking much like food and decided to taste it. How do I know this? When I came back he had poop on his lips… YUCK!) But yes… he is figuring out how to take his diaper off.
