Tomorrow afternoon we will be leaving for Quebec City! We are very excited to be visiting our future home. We will be staying with a couple whose home we plan on renting while taking our French course in Quebec. We are looking forward to getting to know the Dumas family (the ’s’ is not pronounced) and also seeing our upcoming home. It is a fairly long drive, about 10-11 hours and we will be breaking it up a bit. Tomorrow we will drive to Belleville, a city about a four hour drive from here. We are going to stay with a couple we met at a missions conference late last year. Monday morning we will continue our journey with a much more manageable six hour drive from Belleville to Quebec City. While there we hope to visit the University, maybe even sit in on a class, and also explore historic Quebec City. Quebec City is one of the oldest cities in North America and the only fortified city north of Mexico City whose walls still exist. We will be staying until Friday and then return home for a weekend to relax before we get back into our final culture and language practicum. Pray for us (particularly Canaan) as we travel!
