Bienvenue à Québec

Last night around 7pm we rolled into Québec City! It was a long drive but the stop in Bellevillve Sunday night helped quite a bit. We’ve had a lot of fun just getting around the city and doing ordinary things like shopping. Most people it seems don’t know that much English which is why we came in the first place! We tried to order an apple cider at Tim Hortons today but somehow weren’t able to communicate that and ended up with a hot chocolate. We’ve had a lot of fun getting to know the Dumas’, they’ve been very hospitable and great hosts. Tomorrow we hope to get to Old Town Québec and maybe the University where we are going to be studying French. I’ve only been to Québec once long ago and don’t really have any memories of the trip so this is pretty much my first time here. It seemed very strange at first to not go through any customs yet now be surrounded by a completely different culture and language! We’ll keep you updated about our trip, thanks for your prayers!

On this day..
