Almost There
Our crazy week of buziness is almost over! Tomorrow we are officially done with our two month simulation, we’ve been busily working over the past week or so two finish three papers that sum up our experiences. We have a presentation on Friday and a sermon on Sunday but after that we should have a little bit of time to catch our breath. Yesterday we went to Mississauga to get some immunizations done for our trip to Guinea. It was a two hour drive each way but apparently the closest place to get the Yellow Fever vaccination. We really didn’t have that great of a time there. It was very expensive! They were very blatantly charging for everything they could think of to make a buck. Just to get in was $35 per person even though he saw all three of us for just a couple of minutes before giving a quick shot and sending us on our way. It was $250 for only two shots! We’ve had practice giving shots, seemed like something we could have done very easily! Luckily we can do the rest at a local health clinic that has much more reasonable prices. Canaan did well getting a shot, he cried of course but not too long. He’s a tough little guy! Thanks for praying for us as we take each step on our way to Guinea. Keep praying!
