In the Air Again

Though I’d written previously that we were leaving on Thursday the 12th for California we found out that it is actually the 11th that we fly out!  So tonight we take off for our six week trip to visit friends and family in California.  Debra’s dad and brother in law Gregg are here in Durham working on the cabinets at Stillwaters and are flying back with us.   It’s a red eye flight but hopefully that means that Canaan will sleep well.  He did alright to Guinea and back so a little flight to California should be no big deal.  Our time in California should be pretty relaxing, we hope to share at Deb’s Church a few times and work on video presentations about our trip to Guinea.  We’ll also be sharing quite a bit this summer about our upcoming French course in Quebec City.  Deb’s family are ecstatic about the chance to spend time with Canaan and watch him grow.  After a whirlwind year we are excited to sit down and catch our breath.
