Dad working on Grandma's new fence Today I had the opportunity to get away from presentations and newsletters and work on a new fence for Debra’s grandma with her Dad and our brother-in-law Gregg. We started a week ago by putting in the upright posts with concrete but we had to give it time to cure. One thing I’ve noticed that’s different here than at home in Canada is the temperature differences between close locations. Deb’s Grandma lives about a half hour way but it is always much more hot there than in Camarillo where Deb’s parents live. I slowly roasted during the day, I didn’t realize how badly burned I was until we were loaded up and got back into the truck. I’m pretty tender but I’m hoping to heal up before we leave for our week at the beach, I better start using sun screen!

Tomorrow I have two more presentations at Church which I am looking forward to. I’ll try to embed my powerpoint presentation on the blog tomorrow.  I’ve enjoyed these presentations more and more through out the years.  We will miss these opportunities once we’re in Quebec!
