Days at the Beach

Canaan takes advantage of the situation Our family vacation continues with plenty of time at the beach, watching movies and hanging out with friends. We brought a shovel to the beach and I dug a five foot deep pit which I was soon buried in. Canaan used the opportunity to abuse me by trying to feed me sand.

Deb’s Grandpa took me fishing yesterday, it was a lot of fun and unlike any fishing that I have done at home. Although we didn’t catch anything it was fun to just hang out and learn. We used squid and anchovies for bait when I’m used to just plain old worms. We’re hoping we can go out again before we leave California. I had the chance to search amongst the rocks for crabs, I’ve always enjoyed looking under rocks and dirt for whatever little critters I can find!

Sea Glass Debra has really enjoyed searching for Sea Glass. Sea Glass is broken up littered glass that has been tumbled and smoothed by the water and sand, creating small pieces of smooth, frosted glass. We took a walk yesterday and found quite a few pieces. I wonder if we will be able to find Sea Glass in Guinea?

Our week is slowly coming to end but we still have lots of fun ahead of us!
