Pool Boy

Although we spent a week at the beach Canaan didn’t get a whole lot of time spent in the water. The waves kind of freaked him out and so we were excited to give him some pool time today. Wet set up a little inflatable pool and filled it with the hose, Canaan decided it was too cold and wouldn’t get in until we added two buckets of hot water. He splashed around and also did a couple of laps around the yard. He did great walking on the grass and we can see his confidence growing daily. We look forward to my family in Canada seeing Canaan walk around for the first time.

Our time in California is drawing to an end and although we’ll miss our family and friends we are getting very excited about setting up home in Quebec and beginning our French study.
