Toronto Zoo

Toronto ZooIt was seven years ago that I graduated from high school, and since than it has near impossible to get everyone together. It became harder still once I got married and then last year my sister Dana was married. This past Monday all eight of us (Canaan included) were able to get days off of work and schedules arranged so that we could all go to the zoo! I don’t know when it will happen again, but we did have an excellent time. Canaan’s highlight was the Splash Zone water park. It took him a few minutes to realize how fun it was, but he quickly warmed up to it and was sad to leave it! He loved the slide and wanted to go down it over and over and over again.

He definitely enjoyed the animals, particularly the monkeys that studied him through the glass as he studied them. We loved the African area of the zoo as we looked for animals that can be found in Guinea. The gorillas put on a show for us, a young one did all kinds of cart wheels and was doing it’s best to look like a little gymnast! It was a long day for Canaan, he barely slept but that was just because he was having such an amazing time. Tomorrow’s our last day here in Ontario with family and we value every second we’ve been able to spend with them. Here are a few pictures from our trip to the zoo:

What a blessing to get everyone together for a day off! We are deeply thankful to the Lord for your time here in Cali. We miss you!
